Mission
Hearth & Code helps people who were told they couldn't keep up learn the foundations and the effective use of AI, so they can explore what interests them, grow, and make real things along the way. We turn the traits the world called deficits into the engine of how they learn.
The short version: learn the foundations and the real use of AI, built for the minds the old tools left out.
Vision
A world where no one's curiosity dies inside them for lack of a way to learn that fits how their mind works, because AI met them where they are, amplified what they already are, and helped them learn to build the place where they grow.
Our north star: anyone can learn to use these tools, and grow into whatever they're curious about.
What we believe
These seven values aren't decoration. They're the rules we hold the whole platform to.
Strengths, not deficits
Hyperfocus, multitasking, pattern-flooding, ADHD and autistic ways of thinking. None of these were ever the problem. The interface was. We unmask the gift and amplify it. We don't file it down, and we don't fix people. We hand them better tools.

AI does the part you were never going to push through by willpower, so your energy goes to the part only you can do: the vision. The Code is the key. The Hearth is what you build with it.
We use AI, and we're not ashamed that we do
This is our floor, not our apology. If we're not using AI to carry our workload and widen what's possible, we're not growing. No hype, no overnight miracles. Just honest tools doing the heavy part.
Meet the maker where they are
Least friction, always. The platform adapts to your energy and your cognitive state on the day. A high day and a low day are not the same day. You don't perform readiness to be let in.
Learn to bring your ideas to life
The image in your head, the song you can already hear. You can learn to use AI to make them real, and to explore whatever you're curious about next. The skill gap was never supposed to be the gate to learning, and what you make is the proof that you learned it. Creation is the fruit of learning, not the storefront.
A global hearth
The oldest human thing is gathering at a fire. We kept the fire and changed the room. A circle that spans the world, not one tribe. No one builds alone here.
Growth is the only test
Not engagement. Not streaks. Not vanity metrics. The only thing we measure ourselves by is whether you actually grew and made something real. If our tooling doesn't help you grow, then we need to revise it.
The thread that ties it together
Knowledge, and the chance to learn how to make things, is meant to be shared, not gatekept behind time, money, permission, or the right kind of brain. The people who didn't fit the mold got called difficult, and their ideas died for lack of a way to learn that fit how their mind worked. The wall was the tools, not the person.
We're building Hearth & Code to pay that forward. A gardener doesn't correct a plant. It gives the plant the conditions where what it already is can finally grow. AI is that condition. We change the room, not the maker.
