Evidence
Something a reader can inspect.
A public artifact, a source, a reproducible record, or a fact that can be traced. Evidence is allowed to be small. It does not need to carry the entire argument alone.
Research, making, and a long way back into the work.
Method / how the work is held
Hearth & Code is trying to make a public record without turning every private thought into content. Method is the set of small choices that keeps the work open to inspection, correction, and return.
The working grammar
Evidence
A public artifact, a source, a reproducible record, or a fact that can be traced. Evidence is allowed to be small. It does not need to carry the entire argument alone.
Working interpretation
Patterns matter, but a pattern is not the same thing as a settled result. This label keeps a reader able to distinguish a current understanding from a stronger claim.
Proposal
Plans, product ideas, and design choices belong here. Naming them clearly lets the work stay imaginative without smuggling future capability into the present tense.
The boundaries that matter
The goal is not to look finished. The goal is to leave enough of a trail that the next honest step can be found.
