Correspondence / public return path

Field Journal

H+C / 09Correspondence

I want the conversation to remain revisable.

This is my route for reading onward, discussing a real project, or offering a correction with enough context to be useful and enough boundary to remain humane.

I treat a return path as part of the interface.

Useful correspondence names the situation, the constraint, and the decision it could help clarify. It leaves both people room to revise or decline.

01 / Return paths

Choose the conversation that gives the work enough context.

02 / A small protocol

A useful first message names its situation.

  1. What are you trying to understand, make, or correct?
  2. What constraints or source material already shape the work?
  3. What decision, artifact, or conversation would make the next step useful?

Correspondence intake / public-safe Tally form

Bring the situation, not a performance.

A short intake gives a future conversation enough structure to begin well: its purpose, the constraint already in view, and the next useful question.

  1. 01Reading trail

I am following an idea and want a useful next object.

  2. 02Project conversation

I have a real situation, constraint, or research question.

  3. 03Collaboration or work

I want to discuss a possible way of working together.

  4. 04Correction

I want to point to a claim, source, route, or access barrier.

Provider boundary: Tally receives submissions through this public-safe form; the Hearth & Code landing site does not store them. Do not submit confidential, client, health, credential, or other sensitive material.

What is the situation you are carrying?

Use the smallest amount of context that makes the next conversation useful. Tally receives the submission; this landing site does not store it.
